Keep the prompter on top (Mac)

On the Mac the prompter can float over other apps and fade to as low as 25 percent, so you read over a slide deck or a call, and it still takes clicks.

  1. Open the window settings. In the prompter's Mirror & display page, under Window, or in Settings, under Prompter window.
  2. Float it. Turn on Float over other apps (in Settings it reads Keep the prompter in front of other apps).
  3. Fade it. Drag Opacity from 100 down to 25 percent. The window keeps taking clicks all the way down, so you can start, stop and scrub without switching to it.

Full screen pauses both and puts them back when you leave it. Ordinary window resets the window when you've changed anything. These settings belong to this Mac and are never saved into a script, and the External Feed window is never floated or faded.

If that didn't work

If the window drops behind another app, check Float over other apps is still on: full screen turns it off until you leave full screen. Write to us.
