Help / Read and scroll
Fix a word while prompting
Stop the scroll and the script becomes editable right where it is, at reading size. Fix the word, tap Done editing, and play again from the same paragraph.
- Open the edit. Tap Edit the script on the dock, press E on a keyboard, or tap the script while it's stopped. The scroll and any countdown stop.
- Fix it. The edit bar has Smaller text and Larger text, Bold, Italic, Underline, Highlight, Find, Add a cue and the alignments, and Speed from here on a cued paragraph.
- Tap Done editing. The paragraph under the reading line stays where it was. Closing the edit doesn't restart the scroll; press play when you're ready.
While you're recording, opening the edit stops the scroll, and that ends the take, which is saved like any other. Press play after Done editing and a new take starts from the paragraph you fixed. Captions and markers you export afterwards describe that newest take, from its first frame, so go back to the top first if you want the whole script in one take.
The session, the engine and the caption log stay up while you edit. When you're the host, the fix reaches every joined device. Keep the mirror while editing, on the Mirror & display page, decides whether mirrored text stays mirrored while you type.
To fix the script from another device while someone reads, see live edits.
If that didn't work
If tapping the script starts it instead, it was already stopped at the end: press Edit the script on the dock. Write to us.
